How to Make a Movie on iMovie?
Apple's iMovie is welcome by all Mac users for home movie making that permits you to completely edit your video clips, add sound and voiceover tracks and share your movies in several ways. Create and Edit Videos with iMovie on Mac Steps
Step 1: Install and open your iMovie application on your Mac. Click on "New Project" in the "File" menu of iMovie. A box will appear asking you to name your movie. Type in the title name of your project and select a theme, then click "Create”.
Step 2 : Click on "File" and then "Import" to browse the movies and videos in your computer and select the movies you want to edit with iMovie, then click "OK”. The stills of your video will show up in the viewer.
Hints: Please make sure your videos are supported by iMovie, if the videos are not compatible with iMovie, please use a Video Converter for Mac to convert the videos to iMovie supported video formats first. Then add the converted videos to iMovie.

Step 3: The videos then will be displayed in the Event Library at the bottom of the screen. Double click on the video clips to mark it yellow to choose the clip. Select and drag the video clip you need to make a movie to the project library.
You can add images to your video by clicking on the camera icon in the centre right of the program. Or reorder the photos and video clips by highlighting the entire clip and dragging it to the place you want it in the movie. And even add music to the project.
Step 4: After you finished your iMovie project, you can share the videos from the top menu "Share". For example, Upload iMovie Videos to YouTube on Mac. You can also upload the video to QuickTime for easy viewing.
